Aniceto is a solitary man who lives with his fighting cock in the small town of Mendoza. Francisca is an innocent young woman who arrives in search of a job. They meet and fall in love. At first it seems like a dream come true, but it soon becomes a nightmare when the enigmatic and irresistible Lucia moves into the town. Aniceto soon finds himself at Lucia’s mercy as she drives him to his own destruction.

Aniceto es un hombre solitario que vive con su gallo en un pueblito de Mendoza. Francisca es una chica ingenua que llega al lugar en busca de trabajo. Se conocen y se enamoran. Al principio parece un sueño, pero se vuelve pesadilla cuando aparece la enigmática e irresistible Lucía, su nueva vecina, que perturba al hombre y lo arrastra a su propia destrucción.

Born in Mendoza, Argentina, 1938, he began his artistic career as a radio actor in the theater company of his mother, actress and writer Laura Favio. He has written and directed The Friend (short); Chronicle of a Child Alone, The Sad Romance about Aniceto and Francisca; A Few More Things; The Clerk; Juan Moreira; Nazareno Cruz and the Wolf; Dream; Gatica the Monkey; Perón, Symphony of Sentiment (a documentary of 6 hours duration); Aniceto is his latest film.

Nació en Mendoza, Argentina, en 1938. Comenzó su carrera artística como actor de radioteatro en la compañía teatral de su madre, la actriz y escritora Laura Favio. Es director y guionista de: El amigo (cortometraje), Crónica de un niño solo, Este es el romance del Aniceto y la Francisca, de cómo quedó trunco, comenzó la tristeza...; Unas pocas cosas más, El dependiente, Juan Moreira, Nazareno Cruz y el lobo, Soñar, Gatica, el mono, Perón, sinfonía del sentimiento (documental de 6 horas de duración; Aniceto es su película más reciente.
