Was born in Murcia, Spain in 1971. He earned a degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Murcia while simultaneously working as a director for a traveling theatre troupe, which toured throughout North America, the Caribbean, North Africa and Europe. In 1995, he was awarded a full scholarship to study Drama at the University of Puerto Rico. Upon graduating, Abel stayed on the island and worked as a freelance TV writer before moving on as a full-time advertising copywriter. His advertising career would soon take him to the United States, initially to Chicago and a few years later to Los Angeles, where he currently resides. In the years that followed, his creative work for top national advertising agencies garnered acclamation from industry insiders and awards at home, as well as abroad, such as Fiap, Cúspide, AHAA and the New York Festival. In 2007, he finished production on his first short film, Crossing Numbers. Currently, Abel is busy finishing up development of a feature-length black comedy that is slated for production in the coming year.

Nació en Murcia, España en 1971. Se gradua en Lenguas y Literatura Española de la Universidad de Murcia, al mismo tiempo, trabajando como director de teatro itinerante, que recorrió toda América del Norte, el Caribe, África del Norte y Europa. En 1995, fue galardonado con una beca completa para estudiar teatro en la Universidad de Puerto Rico. Al graduarse, Abel se quedó en la isla y ha trabajado como escritor independiente de televisión antes de pasar a tiempo completo como redactor publicitario. Su carrera de publicidad en breve lo lleva a los Estados Unidos, inicialmente a Chicago y unos años más tarde a Los Ángeles, donde reside actualmente. En los años siguientes, su trabajo creativo para agencias de publicidad donde obtuvo aclamación de la industria y los premios en casa, así como en el extranjero, tales como Fiap, Cúspide, AHAA y Nueva York Festival. En 2007, terminó la producción de su primer cortometraje, Cruce de números. Actualmente, Abel está ocupado terminando el desarrollo de un largometraje comedia de humor negro que está programado para la producción en el año que viene.
