La Milagrosa follows the story of Eduardo, a young upper-class Bogotano who’s kidnapped by a guerilla group in one of the “miracle” abudctions that were so prevalent in the nineties. While in captivity, Eduardo lives with a series of situations and characters that transform his life with experiences that allow him to see the hard truth of Colombia’s social and political unrest.

Mexican filmmaker Rafa Lara is in love with the Colombian land. He has a distinguished history that includes the television success, At The Edge of the Law and the direction of a series of documentaries for Discovery Channel Latin America. He will also premiere two feature films in the near future, the psychological thriller, The Fifth Commandment and the romantic comedy, Red Lips.
