Starring Javier Cámara (The Young Pope, Talk to Her), EL OLVIDO QUE SEREMOS / MEMORIES OF MY FATHER tells the story of a man torn between the love of his family and his political fight set in the violence-riddled Colombia of recent decades.

#HFFNY2021 closes with acclaimed filmmaker Icíar Bollaín’s (Yuli, Te doy mis ojos) powerful new film, MAIXABEL, the inspiring true story of a woman (Blanca Portillo, Volver) who, after having violently lost what was most precious to her, decided to take a brave step towards coexistence and peace by agreeing to face the imprisoned ETA terrorist behind the murder of her husband (Luis Tosar, Celda 211).
