Biography

Lisandra López Fabé (Pinar del Río, 1988) is a Havana-based scriptwriter and director. She is a graduate of Cuba’s International Film School -EICTV and from the Universidad de las Artes. She obtained a scholarship from Concordia University to participate in the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program in Montreal. Among the films in which she collaborated as a scriptwriter, we can mention LIMBO (2016), ALONA (2016), DUELO (2016), EL PROYECTO (2017), and HOME (2019 ). Her feature-length documentary BROUWER: EL ORIGEN DE LA SOMBRA co-directed with Katherine T. Gavilán, is her debut film.

Con una Beca de la Universidad de Concordia, participó del Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program en Montreal, Canadá. Ha trabajado como guionista en los documentales: LIMBO (2016), ALONA (2016), DUELO (2016), EL PROYECTO (2017) y HOME (2019). Su ópera prima como directora es el largometraje documental BROUWER:EL ORIGEN DE LA SOMBRA, codirigido por Katherine T. Gavilán.
