Award-winning filmmaker Ernesto Daranas explores the personality and life of Cuban ethnographer and writer Natalia Bolívar Aróstegui. At 84, Natalia lives with two of her daughters as they assist her to write her autobiography. From these pages, passages of the life and facets of the personality of this Cuban intellectual are discovered.

A sus 84 años, Natalia convive con dos de sus hijas y prepara su autobiografía auxiliada por ellas. A partir de estas jornadas de trabajo se descubren pasajes de la vida y facetas de la personalidad de esta intelectual cubana.

Ernesto Daranas is a Cuban film director. His filmography as writer and director includes LOS ÚLTIMOS GAITEROS DE LA HABANA (2004), winner of the International Journalism Award “King of Spain”; DIOSES ROTOS (2008), his debut feature-film, was awarded at the international film festivals of Providence, Tampa, Havana, Ceará and Gibara; BLUECHACHA (2012), Latin Grammy Nominee for Best Long Form Music Video; CONDUCTA (2014) was selected as the Cuban entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards.
