A man's decapitated body is buried unnamed in Puerto Berrio. It’s a corpse attributed to war; thus everybody avoids its tomb. At the funeral, a stranger writes "chosen" on the coffin, sealing a pact to retrieve the missing head and restore the man's dignity.

El cuerpo decapitado de un hombre es enterrado sin nombre en Puerto Berrio. Es un cadáver atribuido a la guerra; todo el mundo evita su tumba. En el funeral, un extraño escribe "elegido" en el ataúd, sellando un pacto para recuperar la cabeza perdida y restaurar la dignidad del hombre.

FERNANDO LÓPEZ

Fernando López Cardona has a degree in Communication and Journalism Studies. He has directed fiction, documentary, advertising and music video projects. His work has circulated in film and advertising festivals in Berlin, New York, Cannes, Buenos Aires, Lima, Madrid, San Sebastián and Toulouse. His debut feature “Memento Mori” (2023) was the opening film of the 62nd FICC-Cartagena International Film Festival.

Estudios de Comunicación Social y Periodismo. Ha dirigido proyectos de ficción, documental, publicidad y videos musicales. Su obra ha circulado en festivales de cine y publicidad en ciudades como Berlín, Nueva York, Cannes, Buenos Aires, Lima, Madrid, San Sebastián y Toulouse. Su ópera prima “Memento Mori” (2023) fue la película inaugural del 62o FICCI-Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena.
